Pierre Pichot, the Man and his Work in International Psychiatry by Driss Moussaoui

Pierre Pichot by Driss Moussaoui: Pierre Pichot, the Man and his Work in International Psychiatry (PowerPoints) was presented by Driss Moussaoui at a symposium on September 30, 2018 in honor of Pierre Pichot, three days before his 100^th birthday at the 18^thWorld Congress of Psychiatry , held from October 27 to October 30, 2018, in Mexicio City, Mexico. The symposium was organized by Driss Moussaoui,, chaired by Helen Herrmann president of the World Psychiatric Association and co-chaired by Norman Sartorius, a past president and former director of the Division of Mental Health of the World Health Organization. The other speakers of the symposium were: Peter Morozov (Russia), Philip Gorwood (France), chairman of the Clinique des Maladies Mentales et de l'Encéphale, the department chaired by Jean Delay then Pierre Pichot, Jean Garrabé (France), Michel Botbol (France), and Naotaka Shinfuku (Japan).All three photopgraphs in the presentation were taken in Paris, France. In the first (from the left) are Theresa Lemperiere, Pierre, Deniker, Pierre Pichot and Jean Delay)’ It was taken in was in the 1960s.  The second, with Jean Delay standing in the auditorium of Sorbonne at the opening ceremonies of the 1^st World Congress of Psychiatry, was taken, in 1950. And the third (from the left) with Henri Ey, Anna Freud and Jean Delay.  was taken also  in1950, at the 1^st World Congress.
