Preamble

Thomas A. Ban and Andre St. Jean’s paper, “The effect of phenothiazines on the electrocardiogram,” was published in 1964(Canadian Medical Association Journal 1964; 91: 537-40). It was followed by their presentation, with S. Desautels, entitled “The effects of phenothiazines on the human electrocardiogram,” made at the fourth CINP Congress in Birmingham, England, in the same year and was published in the meeting’s proceedings,edited by D Bente and PB Bradley(Amsterdam: Elsevier; 1965, pp. 467 -70.)
