Retarded thinking

Definition: Subjective experience of slowness and laboriousness in the flow of thoughts, which is objectively manifested by continuous delays in expressing thoughts (Petho and Ban 1989).

Exploration: The presence of retarded thinking can be established by interviewing the patient.
