Metamorphopsia

Carlos Morra and Ernst Franzek: Psychopathological Symptoms

Definition: Distorted perception consisting in alterations in the shape (dismorphopsias), and/or size (dismegalopsias), and/or distance (dismetropsias) that objects are perceived (Liu, et al., ,2014).

Exploration: The presence of metamorphopsias can be established by interviewing the patient.
