Auditory perseveration

Definition: Persistence of an auditory sensation after the stimulus is discontinued  (Wustmann, Roettig and Marneros,  2010).

Exploration: The presence of auditory perseveraton can be established by interviewing the patient.

Synonym: Palinacousia
