On Honorio Delgado and Alberto Seguin
Hector Warnes
In the late 1950’s while I was in Lima, Peru, doing my residency in psychiatry under C. Alberto Seguin, I went to several lectures given by Honorio Delgado. He was trained in Germany and I have his book on Psychiatry. He was a brilliant psychopathologist. C. Alberto Seguin, my boss at the Hospital Obrero de Lima, was his cousin. Seguin trained in the USA with Flanders Dunbar. Along with Franz Alexander, Dunbar was founder of the psychosomatic movement. Seguin was a friend of Wittkower to whom I was recommended.
