        I was not aware that 40% of bipolar or unipolar depressives end up committing suicide but I am sure from clinical experience that Lithium has antidepressant effects (perhaps due to its neurotrophic and neuroprotective effects).

        I was not aware either of the fatalities or the casualty incidence of those using Lithium but I am sure that the question of risk versus benefits is not comparable to Clozapine.
