Psychomotor Agitation
 

Definition: Aimless and purposeless motor activity with tension and inability to relax (Petho and Ban 1989; Taylor, 1981).

 

Exploration:  The presence of agitation can be established by observing patient with or without interacting with him/her (Fink and Taylor, 2003).
