Carlos Morra and Ernst Franzek: Psychopathological Symptoms

 

Definition: Inability to relate (bring together) the sensory components of a perceptual experience (Jaspers 1963).

 

Exploration: The presence of divided perception can be established by interviewing the patient.

 

Synonym: Split perception
