Stereotypies of thinking

 

Definition: Repeated occurrence of thoughts, images, words or phrases interspersed in any part of habitual thinking which have no relation with the content and do not interfere or deviate the flow of ideas (Dromard 1905).

 

Exploration: The presence of stereotypies of thinking can be established by interviewing the patient.
