Carlos Morra and Ernst Franzek: Psychopathological Symptoms

Grimacing

 

Definition: The maintenance of a stereotyped grimace in which the lips are placed circularly and advanced tubularly in a manner symilar to an animal's snout (Hamilton 1976).

 

Exploration: The presence of grimacing can be established by observing the patient.
