Stereotypy by Carlos Morra

         Persistent repetition of one invariable form of gesture, act or verbal expression without an identifiable objective. The term was introduced in 1864 by Jean-Pierre Falret in his textbook "Les Maladies Mentales et des asiles d´aliénés." It was derived by clinical observation (Guiraud  1936).
